Ingredients

1/4 cup beer or beef broth2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce2 teaspoons chili powder1 teaspoon onion powder1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)4 hamburger buns, split

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties.

On a lightly oiled grill rack, grill hamburgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Serve on buns.
