Ingredients

2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour3/4 cup sugar2 teaspoons baking soda1 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg1 cup 2% milk2 large eggs, room temperature1/3 cup butter, melted2 cups shredded cheddar cheese1 cup finely chopped dried apricots3/4 cup finely chopped pecansTOPPING:3 tablespoons packed brown sugar1 tablespoon butter1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. In a small bowl, beat the milk, eggs and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the cheese, apricots and pecans. Spoon into 2 greased 8x4-in. loaf pans. Combine the topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
