Ingredients

1 pound lean ground turkey1 medium onion, chopped3 garlic cloves, minced4 cups chopped cabbage2 medium carrots, sliced1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained3/4 cup water1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon white vinegar1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dried oregano1/4 teaspoon dried thyme1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Cook the turkey, onion and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, 5-7 minutes, breaking up turkey into crumbles; drain.

Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer until the vegetables are tender, 12-15 minutes.
