Ingredients
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms1/2 cup chopped green pepper1 tablespoon butter2 tablespoons all-purpose flour1 cup chicken broth1/2 cup 2% milkDash salt and pepper1-1/2 cups cubed cooked turkey breast2 teaspoons diced pimientos2 slices bread, toasted
Preparation
In a small saucepan, saute mushrooms and green pepper in butter until crisp-tender, 3-4 minutes. Stir in the flour, broth, milk, salt and pepper until blended. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes.
Add the turkey and pimientos; heat through. Serve with toast.
