Ingredients

2 large eggs

1/4 c. whole milk

2 tbsp. heavy cream

2 tbsp. packed brown sugar

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Pinch ground nutmeg

Pinch kosher salt

8 medium flour tortillas 

Butter, for pan

Whipped cream

Sliced strawberries

Blueberries

Sliced bananas

Melted chocolate

Powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth. Add tortillas one by one, flipping each to make sure each is entirely coated by the mixture. Let all tortillas soak for at least 15 minutes, up to 30 minutes.Step 2In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt a thin tab of butter. Place one soaked tortilla in skillet and cook until each side is golden, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Step 3Serve with whipped cream and fruit, drizzled with melted chocolate or sprinkled with powdered sugar, if desired.
