Ingredients

1/3 cup water1/4 cup tomato paste3 tablespoons brown sugar1 tablespoon prepared mustard2 teaspoons seasoned salt2 teaspoons cider vinegar1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules2 pounds beef short ribs1 small tomato, chopped1 small onion, chopped1 tablespoon cornstarch1 tablespoon cold water

Preparation

In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Add the ribs, tomato and onion. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until meat is tender.

In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth; gradually stir into cooking juices. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes or until thickened.
