Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained1 cup chopped onion1 cup water1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce2/3 cup chopped celery1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules1 teaspoon minced garlic1 bay leaf1/2 teaspoon pepper1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, optional1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, optionalHot cooked rice
Preparation
In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients. Sprinkle with oregano and thyme if desired. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through. Discard bay leaf. Serve with rice.
