Ingredients

3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice2 tablespoons sugar2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce1 tablespoon white vinegar1 teaspoon ground ginger1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1/8 teaspoon pepper1 boneless pork loin roast (about 3 pounds), halved7-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch3 tablespoons cold water

Preparation

In a greased 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 7 ingredients. Add roast and turn to coat. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove pork to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices. Transfer juices to a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with meat.
