Ingredients

1 pound ground beef1/2 cup chopped celery1/3 cup chopped onion2 tablespoons chopped green pepper1 cup ketchup1/2 cup chili sauce1 tablespoon sugar1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon cider vinegar2 teaspoons ground mustard1/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper6 hamburger buns, split

Preparation

In a large skillet, cook the beef, celery, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain.

Stir in the ketchup, chili sauce, sugars, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Serve on buns.
