Ingredients
1 cup ketchup2 tablespoons lemon juice2 tablespoons cider vinegar1/4 cup packed brown sugar2 teaspoons prepared mustard1 teaspoon salt1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce1 bay leaf1 garlic clove, minced1/2 cup water2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Discard bay leaf. Use as a basting sauce when grilling chicken, pork or beef.
