Ingredients
3 to 4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits, undrained2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce1/2 cup thinly sliced onion1/2 cup thinly sliced green pepper1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/4 cup cider vinegar1/4 cup tomato paste2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1 garlic clove, minced1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper1 tablespoon cornstarch1 tablespoon cold water
Preparation
Place ribs in an ungreased 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine the next 11 ingredients; pour over ribs. Cook, covered, on low until meat is tender, 8-10 hours.
To make sauce, transfer cooking juices to a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into juices. Return to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with ribs.
