Ingredients

2 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce

3/4 c. chicken broth

2 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. cornstarch

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 clove garlic

2 tbsp. minced fresh ginger

1 1/2 lb. shrimp

1 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar

1 tsp. Chinese chile sauce

2 tbsp. ketchup

Preparation

Step 1In a small bowl, whisk the ketchup with the soy sauce, chicken broth, sugar, chile sauce, cornstarch, and vinegar.Step 2Heat a large skillet until very hot. Add the oil and swirl to coat the pan. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 10 seconds, until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until curled, but not cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes.
