Preparation
Fill a large jar with rinsed strawberries (do not hull). Cover berries with vinegar and seal jar. Refrigerate for 10 days. Strain and measure vinegar into pints; discard berries. For each pint of vinegar, add 3 cups of sugar. Bring mixture to a boil; boil 2 minutes. Cool. Pour into sterile bottles or jars; seal.
